Dr. Mohammad Farooq Bhat is a distinguished orthopaedic surgeon and academic, currently serving as Associate Professor in Orthopaedics at GMC Jammu and consultant surgeon at Pulse Hospital, Jammu. With advanced fellowship training from the National University Hospital Singapore, he brings global expertise to local care.

 

His practice covers trauma, spine, joint replacement, and paediatric orthopaedics. Dr. Bhat has also made pioneering contributions to orthopaedic innovation — including a new surgical technique to correct elbow deformities in children (published internationally) and a patented implant for clavicle fracture repair.

 

A passionate educator and researcher, Dr. Bhat has over 50 publications, more than 200 citations, and continues to contribute to medical literature and international orthopaedic forums.
